Indian Nodder Doll:

A large and unusual nodder in four sections giving very lifelike movement. Obviously patterned after an Indian Diety, it is made of composition and the detailing is very complex.

$575

Black Velvet Doll:

This is an all velvet black doll with features painted in white, c. 1875, from a New England family. 13" tall

$1200

Babyland Ragdoll:

This is the earliest version of a lovely Babyland ragdoll,  hand-coloured on silk net,  fine detail and complete in good condition. 15" tall

$950

Canvas Presbyterian Doll:

One of the best examples of the so-called "Presbyterian" doll that I have seen. These were made by groups of woman and sold for the church.  Hand painted oil on canvas, I think of these as folk paintings.  c. 1880-1900 16" tall

$2500
