Mcloughlin Panorama of Afro-American stereotypical scenes
< Back to Paper Toys
![]() |
This is part of a series of panoramas that Mcloughlin made in the late 19th century. It consists of 12 highly stereotypical and artistic panels of various "comic" scenes. It is 11" square and 1 3/4" in depth. They are made to roll across the proscenium which is housed within the decorative cardboard stage and shows an orchestra on the bottom. This example is complete although 4 of the 12 scenes have taped repairs. An extremely rare and important historical toy. $2000 |
