Manuscript of "Jay Walkin" written by and in the hand of John Coltrane
From the fabled Guernsey Auction of Jazz Artifacts almost 3 years ago, this is a genuine Coltrane transcription. The bottom of the page has a Jowocol stamp from 2005, this being the stamp from the Coltrane estate. This piece was deaccessioned from the estate and consigned to the Guernsey frim for auction.
A rare piece of jazz history from one it's greatest and legendary artists. It is unlikely that material like this will ever be available again.
